Presentation Guidelines
Oral Presentations
• The presentation slides in PPT or PDF format, must be sent to MITOS S.A.: efi@mitos.com.gr by 25 September 2020.
The file should be saved using the number assigned to your contribution by EasyChair.
• These slides will only be used as a backup, in case of presenters experiencing communication problems
• All presenters will be contacted the week before the conference, by Boussias Communications (Mr. Kostas KARRAS: k.karras@boussias.com), responsible for the virtual platform, for a training seminar with instructions on when and how to log in and how to resolve technical problems that may appear
• The time slot for Tutorials is 90 min, for Keynotes 40 + 5 min, Invited 25 + 5 min and oral is 15 + 5 min (the 5 minutes are allocated for questions)
• Preferred format: 16:9
• There is not a mandatory template, but authors would preferably use this one for their convenience
Poster Presentations
• Poster presentation is recommended to be contained in maximum 3 slides only, to be downloaded and available to all participants, composed of scope and outline, results and conclusions.
A full slides presentation may be used by the presenter during poster session, to facilitate presentation and the discussion with participants
• The title should appear in letters of at least 5cm height
• The name and e-mail of the presenter should be underlined
• All presenters will be contacted the week before the conference, by Boussias Communications (Mr. Kostas KARRAS: k.karras@boussias.com), responsible for the virtual platform, for a training seminar with instructions on when and how to log in and how to resolve technical problems that may appear.
• Use bullets charts, equations, photographs, figures, tables … to highlight the important technical content of your paper
• Each poster presenter will be assigned a presentation room (under sessions) and he will be the sole moderator of his poster for one and a half hours (1hr 30 min) according to the announced program
• Each poster is assigned a unique code, and must have only one presenter, the name of which will be used to open the communication room. The presenter will have the role of a moderator, thus, he will have full access to present his poster maximum 3 slides) and handle Q&A during the poster presentation. Please note that once the presenter has been announced no changes can be made.
